I am interested in a real estate (second) career and would like to learn more.  My initial interest was in flipping houses (building on my experience in remodeling and making great returns on my own homes).  I am now interested in a broader range of options, especially rental investing. I have access to significant resources for initial investments but am not ready to jump in with both feet until I know much more about how the business works.  Like others, I'm interested in learning more about risks and opportunities, how best to leverage my funds and the types of hurdles that could arise and how they can be dealt with.
