Hello Everyone,

My name is Clemel, I'm so excited to find so much information about Real Estate investing i this site.

My husband and I have 9-5 jobs and would love to become landlords, at the moment we are looking in the Brantford area, but have not found our first property yet.

Last night we browsed some properties in Peterborough, Belleville and Trenton, if anyone has some insights regarding those areas, please share.

Looking forward to learning about investing from all of you.

Welcome to BP @Clemel Estrada!

I feel like there are a lot fewer investors (just from anecdotal experience) on the east side of the GTA, such as Peterborough and those areas. I have heard the tenant pool is a little rougher, but I think good deals can be had, particularly if there are fewer investors looking.

What types of properties are you looking for? Single Family Homes? Duplexes?
