Hello everyone!

I've recently moved to Charlotte from Pittsburgh. The rental scene between the 2 cities are so different.  I'm an accountant and have no experience in real estate .  I've been learning a lot these past few years, either on my own or through tax work, and am eager to get into it by flipping or through rentals.  My only hang up is waiting to have enough capital to do so! I'm interested in learning which neighborhoods in Charlotte are on the rise and their future value!

Welcome to BP, Brad.

There are a couple of aspects of your post which jump out at me. One is that you want to either flip or buy rentals, and the other is that you want us to tell you which areas will appreciate...

First, flipping and rentals are not at all similar, nor are these used to achieve similar objective. The notion that you are floating both tells us that you not only don't know the market, but also don't know yourself. And, naturally, asking us to tell you which areas will appreciate is a bit silly - who the hell knows. We all see the same demographics and employment trends - take a guess :)

As to money, you'll find that a large segment of the successful people on BP became so in-spite of not having money...

Good Luck!
