Austin and Houston

Hello BP friends! I'm a realtor in the Austin area. I'm ferociously reading and listening to all things REI. My ultimate goal is to have enough passive income to pay bills/living expenses for myself and my family. I know Austin's market very well. And although I know it's possible, I realize that it might be difficult to find that immediate cash flow. I'm thinking Houston might be better. I can easily become a member of the Houston MLS, and I'm also very familiar with the city, as I grew up there (parents still live there). I look forward to meeting successful investors in both Houston and Austin, talking "shop", and seeing how I can serve in making transactions happen.

Welcome to BP, Erin. I'm sure you already do networking in the Realtor circle. Branch out and hit up your local REIAs too.
