Hi, my name is Terry, I moved to Shreveport, LA from Philadelphia. My real estate experience includes buy and hold as well as flipping properties in both cities. When I retired from higher education (I was a college professor) I wanted to do something completely different. A friend introduced me to real estate investing and I found my passion. I have learned how to do a lot of the rehab work, I can put down ceramic tile, tape and float, paint and set cabinets among other things. Currently, I’m exploring becoming a “private lender” which I think will be fun. I will see the project from start to finish and have fewer demands on my time and I can make money in the process (what could be better).
