New Investor in Boston Area

Hi everybody. I work full time as an electrical engineer but would like to start collecting some cash flowing multifamily properties. My long term goals are to own larger cash flowing apartment buildings, but only have the means to start with duplex to fourplexes right now. I'm still pretty new to the Boston area, I live in Sudbury, and was wondering what were some good ways to meet like minded people around me.

As a side note, I've got to say, the people on these forums are much friendlier than what I'm used to on Linux and engineering forums. It's a pleasant surprise.
