Hello All

I have been hiding in the shadows for some time now, faithfully watching webinars every Wednesday night, downloading podcasts to listen in car, and reading reading reading from forums to Kyosaki to John Schaub to BP Beginners Guide to REI and whatever else I can get my hands on.

Huge believer in the power of passive income and the teachings of Tim Ferris. As a result a portion of my earnings are through passive income by implementing the use of Virtual Assistants. I see huge potential in REI with a lot of hard work, both of which I'm very excited to dive into.

I’m in my 33rd year of life and recently left the commercial maritime world in May to continue pursuing my career as a freelance Captain.

My wife to be (in 11 days 3hrs and 4 minutes 37 seconds) and I are looking to start our portfolio with our first property together to be a multi-family in which we live in one of the units for 1-2 years as house hackers and then continue to build with BRRR. I spoke with a mortgage lender from Chase and was told that I need to show 3 years of steady income on my own which may make the lending process a tricky one. We both have great credit.

In the mean time I have been active scrolling listings and making calls to gain experience and plugging away at the rental property calculator.

Really looking forward to start networking and becoming an integral part of this community.

Chris
