Hi my name is James Roy and I am new to real estate.  I am a novice developer looking to start with homes and condos in the Chicago area.  I am originally from the area, having just moved back in the past year.  In my full time I work for fortune 100 company.  My goal is start small working on few projects to learn the ropes and build up some cash.  My goal is in 3-5 years to transition full time.  I want to first to be able to replace my income from my full-time position, then to make some real money.  I've always been interested in the business as my dad has been a realtor, mortgage broker, and a general contractor the past 20 years.  I'd love to share what (little for right now) I know and to pick the brains of the real experts.
