Hey I'm Brian Smithers and I live in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. I'm new to real estate but I'm anxious to learn. My wife and I are looking into the idea of using our first time buyer opportunity to invest in a multifamily complex. I found BiggerPockets thanks to the RealEstateInvesting Reddit thread. My wife and I have what I believe is the same goal for everyone here and that is to increase our standard of living and giving.

@Brian Smithers I would suggest networking with other members and follow/subscribe to the multi-family forums and loan/financing forums (since you're planning on using FHA. I would also suggest setting up keyword alerts so you can see the general chatter about multi-family related items. There are also a couple of really helpful real estate books you should check out here. Hope it helps!
