New to REI, looking to LEARN, and invest in Chicagoland
Hello! My name is Tony, and I live in Aurora, Illinois. I recently graduated from St. Ambrose University with a degree in Management, and Organizational Leadership. I have studied and researched real estate investing for the past few months, and I'm ready to get started on achieving the goals I've set.
My short term goal is to "house hack" a duplex property in the Chicagoland area. I've made progress towards reaching this goal by working for general contractors in the past year. Throughout this time I have been able to gain a lot of knowledge on rehabilitating and working on homes.
My next step in achieving my goal is to find current investors who focus on rental properties. I'm really looking for individuals to talk with, learn from, and further my investing knowledge.
I would LOVE any advice and information on investor meetings around my area, so I can continue to be proactive in my journey!
