My name is Kelly Newby, and I have a very NOVICE experience in real estate. I currently reside in the Atlanta, Georgia area. My current occupation is a systems engineer with a fairly large IT company. My ultimate goal is to escape the rat race. My goal with BP is to learn from others and network with others. Please feel free to reach out to me with any advice, guidance, constructive criticism, or anything that can help out.

Thanks!

Hey Kelly!  I wanted to offer a little advice where I could.  The best thing to do is to get started by "getting your house in order."  I would recommend tracking your personal finances, setting a budget, and saving monthly for your first purchase.  I would recommend saving 10-20% of your monthly after-tax income towards your first down payment.  Set up a seprate savings account, and move that money over so you can watch it increase each month.  That helped me to make my first condo purchase!

Best of luck,

-Eric
