New Member from Wauconda, IL-Moving to Libertyville, IL
Hello all,
I am a complete newbie to this type of community. My wife and I currently own a home in Wauconda which we intend to rent when we move to our new home in Libertyville at the end of the month. I am currently researching how to perform background checks on potential renters, drawing up lease agreements, and managing a renter once they have moved in. Once I have established a renter and I feel comfortable, I will be interested in learning more about finding potential properties as well as how properly invest in it.
In my professional life I am a firefighter/paramedic. I have been in the fire service for over 8 years now. I love my job, but would like to pursue other opportunities outside of this.
I attend Penn State University online. Due to the firefighter schedule, it is very difficult to attend school in person, although I would love to be able to! In my free time I like to spend time with my son and I also run triathlons.
