Ciao BP community! My name is Raymond Tan. My wife and I have been married for about 8 years and we have been together for over 15 years now. We have 2 daughters. We currently live in Anaheim, California. I have been fortunate to have some mentors in my life who helped me started in real estate. With their guidance we currently have two rental properties, one in Los Angeles county and one in Riverside county. Both are SFR.

For my day job, I work in the aerospace industry and the rest of my free time, I love to read about real estate and retirement in my leisure time. My goal is to have my passive income (either from stocks or rental properties) that will replace my W2 income as soon as possible. The current strategy is buy and hold approach for SFR. I have started looking at MFR now.

I love BP and its members due to transparency, sharing knowledge and honest options.  With some success with my current rentals, I believe that real estate is my life long calling.  I feel that BP can help me connect with people who are in the same industry and passion as mine.  I will start looking around for BP local meets to learn more from this community members as well as studying more from posts.
