New Investor in Dallas, TX

Hello BP Community!

I am kind of new to the real estate investment scene and wanted to formally introduce myself (long time lurker). I am wanting to start fix and flipping and once I get just enough capital going, to purchase my first rental property. My goal this year is to hopefully flip about 5 houses and have one buy and hold.

I have already started to network in my area, and the investors I have met are super helpful! I am looking for an equity partner for my future deals as well, and if there's anyone in the area willing to hold my hand through the process a couple of times, I would greatly appreciate it!

I hope to learn a great deal from all of you, and to be able to contribute in the future!

Much success to everyone!

Welcome @Sarah Hale! Once you get to the buy and hold stage, you are in a great location - Garland is a hot rental market.  Be sure to check out the city's rental registration requirements and note that they offer a "Single Family Rental Training" program.
