I was on here a while back but didn't know what I wanted to do in life so I didn't want to waste anyones time. But now I do so I can move forward with getting into this realestate thing considering I'm going to inherit my family home at some point and would like to leverage to free myself from the rat race. I've listened to BP Podcast 210 and was very motivated, espesially since the couple interviewed was from Jersey. Since I'm from Englewood NJ, I hope I would be able to connect or get some bits and pieces from them and others that might be in my area.

I wanted to start off with this question: Are you considered a first time home buyer if you inherit a home?

Are you talking about the first time buyer financing programs?  While requirements vary by program, many state the requirement to be not owning a home as your principal residence for 3 years.
