Hello everyone, I'm a new member in Arbuckle California. I came across this site during my search for information on real estate and investing. A little background about me. I've been around construction my entire life. I grew up on a ranch in Northern California. I've been involved in about every trade in the construction industry over the last 15 years. I spent about 5 years as the facility Director at a conference center, which basically meant my job was maintenance and facility improvements of the 640 acres and over 50 buildings. The last five years I spent as a full-time electrician in Atlanta. So when it comes to building and maintaining facilities that are multi family or single-family I've got a pretty good handle on all of that. Currently I'm looking for more information about how to find deals, and the process of going through purchases. Also different types of funding, I've got good credit, but not a lot of cash and I've just started my own corporation so I don't have a lot of history. I've been self-employed for the last few years and don't like to pay a lot of taxes so I've never shown a lot of profit. At this point I'm more interested in long-term buy and hold. I don't necessarily want to quit my day job yet, but someday I hope I won't need it.
