Hi everyone. I'm new to bigger pockets and real estate investing. I started listening to the podcasts and reading articles maybe two weeks ago. I have a long commute so I just listen to the videos daily.

I will be moving to Texas during the summer and plan to buy a rental in the near future. Just bought a nice house for my family. Interested in small multifamily homes (2-4 units). Not interested in house hacking.

My background is in engineering.

I found BP by somehow stumbling across it on youtube.

Thanks for reading,

Cyprian

Thank you Tyler, @Account Closed while it would be nice to buy in the local SA area and I have been looking at the surrounding cities as well. I'm in Columbus (Ohio) right now so I've been looking here too.

So long story short, buying is not limited to local area as long as adding that 10% management fee doesn't make the deal unfavorable.  I'll make a note to contact you once I'm settled in SA in a few months.
If you have any investment friendly banks/lenders to recommend, that would be great.
