Future Investor from VA

Hello everyone! I am not new to Bigger Pockets but I am reintroducing myself after an extended break. I joined a few years ago when I became interested in real estate investing but I stepped back from my investment ambitions to finish my associates. 

I am 20 years old and began investing in the stock market at age 18. While I enjoy watching my investments and the excitement definitely interests me, I prefer to invest in investments that I can manipulate on my own. So real estate is perfect for me. 

My next goal is to have my first investment property within one year and begin to build my portfolio from there. I plan on getting my realtors license as well. I am a hard worker and fully dedicate myself to everything I set my mind to so I am excited to see what my future holds in the real estate world. I hope to hear from many of you and to get advice and starting tips from those that have been where I am at and have been successful in their own ventures.
