New to BP - buy& hold in Chicago (currently!) & Seattle (soon!)

Hi all!

I'm new to the BP Community but have been listening to the podcasts for a year now.

I'm a Canadian living in the Bay Area with my husband and daughter. I work in tech and worry that I fit the Silicon Vally stereotype too neatly (chia breakfast pudding followed by a drive in the electric car to yoga???)

I'm on my 3rd primary residence - 1st was a 5bd 4ba 1/2 duplex that I bought in Vancouver Canada when I was 23 and house hacked (without knowing there was a word for it)! 2nd was a condo in Boston, and we're now in a SFH in the Bay Area.

We (my husband and I) are just getting into buy and hold investing and have a duplex in Chicago and are under contract for a 4 plex there as well. We're doing the turnkey thing because we have a toddler and full time jobs so time is a limited resource these days! We're currently exploring the areas around Seattle as well (family still lives in Vancouver Canada, have good friends in property management there).

I'd love to connect with folks familiar with markets around Seattle, and I always appreciate advice of any kind - we're just starting out on this real estate investing journey :)
