Hi, Bigger Pockets! I'm Krista.

I have been interested in REI for many years, and have finally decided to go for it. My little knowledge of REI comes entirely from books, manuals, podcasts, and YouTube videos, so I will have lots of newbie questions as I take action.

At the time of this post, I am a non-traditional college senior looking to build a long-term career that I find stimulating, lucrative, and relatively recession-proof.

I come from an artistic family. My degree is in English with a Writing Emphasis, and I currently work as a writing tutor. Paradoxically, I love Marketing and Success Mindset, so even though I write fiction, all I read is self-help and marketing materials. LOL

I grew up mostly in Kansas, but lived in Alaska and South Texas for a while. 

My youngest sister also shares a passion for financial freedom and real estate. She studied interior design at KSU, so I'm looking forward to working on rehab/flipping projects with her. 

All I need is a bit more know-how, some startup cash, and a fair dose of chutzpah to get this party started. 

Bigger Pockets seemed like the place to be!
