New investor from Charlotte looking for lender

Hi BP community! I'm a fairly new investor (owned 3 rentals, one flip and provided private loan for flipper) and have been lurking on the website, learning, listening to podcasts, etc. for a couple of years now but would like to get more involved in buy and hold investing. I have started to get involved with the local REIA and have met some wholesalers and other investors but if you are a wholesaler in the Charlotte area, please feel free to add me to your buyer list or reach out. I am open to multi-family deals but everything I have done so far has been sfr.

My prior loans have been with conventional financing (VA, FHA and conventional to be more precise) but I recently set up an LLC to buy properties in and wanted to see if anyone had recommendations for portfolio/commercial lenders in the area? My understanding is that you can't purchase with conventional fannie/freddie type financing through an LLC?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Gregory...Connect with Lima One Capital.  They are based out of SC but they do both portfolio and commercial lending for multifamily.  Another consideration that you can work on over time is private money.  I'm more than happy to share ways to engage with folks about the topic...just a matter of setting up a time for a phone call.  Best of luck to you!
