Looking to network in NYC area

Hi all,

I'm a 34 year old aspiring real estate investor/ developer from NYC. I'm a licensed architect and have 10+ years of experience in the design and construction world. I work for a large international design firm and have worked on a lot of different project types; commercial office buildings, a few high-rise residential projects, and even a single family home. I know my way around a construction site, weather small or big. I've always been interested in real estate and development but have yet to get my feet wet. I've been lurking on the boards for a while, what a great resource!

I'm interested in finding a local people here in the tri-state area I can network with and maybe team up with. I'm looking to start small but the 10-year plan is to give up the day job and create a design, develop, & build company. Looking forward to connecting with other design and construction professionals with similar goals.

Thanks,

Sean
