Hi BP!

I'm a newbie in Cincinnati, Ohio. I haven't purchased any properties yet but I'm hoping to use real estate as a way to escape the 9-5pm grind and build wealth over the long term. I currently working towards saving for my first investment property but am probably a year or so away. I'm hoping to purchase a multi-family and live in one unit while renting out the others to get my feet wet as a landlord and to have tenants pay my rent so I can save quicker for future properties! I've been reading a lot and listening the the BP podcasts and feel like I'm learning a ton and hoping to build a solid knowledge base so I can be as successful as possible in the future. Would love to hear from anyone in Cincinnati, Ohio or the surrounding area about how they're doing. Seeing other people in my area doing would be a great motivator and verification that I can do well also!

Welcome to BP.  Cincinnati has an active group here on BP.   Your goals of purchasing a multi-family and living in one of the units is a great foundation to build upon in RE investing.  I started doing that same thing 2 years ago in Cincinnati.  Feel free to reach out with any questions that you may have.  If I am able to be of assistance I will gladly help.

Welcome Sam. I'm from the west side of Cincinnati. I'd be willing to help you with any resources you may need that are within my means. I am currently looking at multi families, and intend to house hack as well. 

@Sam Saeli , good luck Sam! For the last 3 years, I've been active in Cincinnati both as a transactional investor, house hacking sfr properties while doing rehabs and helping investors buy and sell properties in my areas of focus. Keep your focus on it and you'll get there. It took me awhile to get some momentum going and now I just my first hire to help me control the chaos I created. You should be able to find a two family pretty easily in Cincinnati, best of luck!
