Newbie seeking first investment

Hi Everyone,

Trying to get my first investment for my family's future and I am debating myself. I have a fulltime job in which I spend on average 10 hours in the office and want to invest in out out state turnkey properties and part of me want to understand the game closer by saving a little more and investing in a fix and flip locally here in Southern California. Really love to hear what the community thinks.
