My name is Kevin Reynolds and I'm new to real estate investing.  I live and work in Redmond.  My current real estate experience is limited to buying my own primary residences (a condo and then a single family home).  I'm interested in purchasing single or multi-family properties in the North Seattle area around Everett and Lake Stevens < $300k and have a positive cashflow.  I am open to advice, including if there are other areas I should consider.

I'm a passionate student of real estate and have spent the past few months learning. I've read several books (currently reading "Hold: How to find, buy, and rent houses for wealth"), listened to podcasts (each day while I run and in my car to and from work), read blogs, attended local real estate meet-ups, and put my goals up on a board in my home office. Now it is time to jump in and make a deal happen, so I've started working with a local real estate agent and got a pre-approval for financing. Next step is finding the right deal. Feel free to reach out if you know of a great property that isn't on the MLS.

I'm looking forward to connecting with others passionate about real estate (my wife will thank all of you for giving me an outlet to discuss all my thoughts and ideas.)
