Good Morning Bigger Pocket members,
My name is Candice Melvin and I'm a newbie to RE.A friend of mine peaked my interest in RE after she helped me work on a training program for young men that I plan to do, that would provide shelter and a financial literacy program for them.Once I started working on the business plan for the project was RE is in the back of my mind but not really a priority.Coincidently I saw a flyer for a group of people looking to form a Buy Back the Block Investment Club for the City of Newburgh.So I said ok that's a sign I went to a few of their meetings and joined the group and I'm the secretary.As the group is still forming I'm learning a lot as ,none of us have every done RE before. We all have to research and once I started I was hooked and focused.I read everyday about RE and listen to a few Pod Cast a week.I'm still. in the research phase of things and I work full time and have every other weekend part time job.I'm also working on becoming a signing agent and the next 30 days and becomong REA at the same time.So to start wholesaling may be best for me at this time.But my future goal is to Flip and Buy and Hold.Last but not least one of the members of the group that was a REA in Atlanta told me about BiggerPocketscom and I think it is awesome.
