Hello All -

N00b here, just moved to Greenwich, CT from Brooklyn, NYC.  Owner of a property in each city and now focused on investment opportunities with upside (renovations, change of use, working thru legal issues, etc.).  I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, literally and figuratively!

By day I work in commercial real estate lending in NYC, and I'm also a professional engineer, so I'm happy to help the community in anyway I can.  I'm looking forward to networking with local investors/partners, contractors, brokers, etc.

Good to meet you all!

Welcome @Paul Bergagna . Good to get some local blood in here. I look forward to connecting and seeing what kind of synergy we might have. We have some local people who get together occasionally to bounce ideas off of each other over bears. Let me know if you would like to be a part of it. At the very least we should speak further. Best of luck, Mike.

Hey Paul! I'm new here too. Just finished my first flip, and recently got my real estate license in CT. Looking forward to seeing your progress, as well as my own!

Victor/Mike - I need an attorney to assist me with closing. Any locals you would suggest? Property is in Bridgeport. Would be good info for both Paul and I!

Thanks - best of luck Paul.

@Paul Bergagna Welcome to BP family. If you're buying in CT (or anywhere else for that matter), consider attending local REI meetings. You can find them via meetup website. Once you join one REI group locally, you'll get a ton of suggestions from meetup on many more groups. Networking is essential in what you plan on doing!

Hello! @Paul Bergagna

Welcome to BP, and congratulations on making the decision to invest in your future via real estate.

I have written a few blog posts that may help you get started here on BP, and with your investing. Please click on the links, give them a read, and share your thoughts in the comments.

First is a post that I feel will help not get overwhelmed with the amount of info that is here on BP:

The second is a post that will help get you focused with your real estate investing goals:

The last one is a post that will help you choose an “investor friendly” real estate agent. There are many agents out there, but it’s important to choose the right one.

I love answering questions if you have any! Good Luck :)
