I my name is Seth McNamar. I live in Tulsa Oklahoma. I am new to real estate investing buy many of my family members at one time or another have worked in the real estate profession as agents. I am looking at one sfr home right now that has a lot of equity for what the owner is wanting to sell it for but I don't have much in terms of finances. So I am on my pursuit to figure out the best creative way to finance the deal. :) I am also very interested in multi family. I want to house hack with my wife so we can use that money that we would be saving and put that toward more real estate investments. I am getting in to real estate to change my families future. It struck me one day that if things stay the same way as they are now my parents will leave me no inheritance what so ever. I decided that from that moment forward that I would do what ever it took to change that for the future generations of my family. I am very ambitious and not afraid of hard work. Thanks for reading and have a great day.
Hey Seth, congrats on taking the first step. You're taking the first step right now. I have done a bunch of investing, including house-hacking, so if you have questions please reach out to me! I have been looking into Tulsa quite a bit for large multifamily properties. I'd love to keep in touch.
Hi Seth. The first step is hard, but arguably the most important! I work with investors and some of them are brand new also. House hacking sounds like a good plan! Look for 2-4 properties, with some tenants in place. You'll have an easier time getting a loan if you already have a tenant paying the mortgage. Best of luck!
