Hey everyone, I am new on the Biggerpockets forums and I thought I'd introduce myself. I am 20 years old and  I currently live in Adelaide, Australia. I Dont have any properties yet but I am very eager and passionate about real estate. I am currently completing a major in finance and accounting and  hold a real estate licence but currently not working in the Industry as I own and operate my own pizza business. My plan is to move to Los Angelos in  3 years time as I have family there and looking to get my real estate licence and start working as a realtor. I am currently doing as much research as possible on the side to increase my knowledge in both investing and developing real estate. It is really motivating and inspiring to be apart of such a great community and I am looking forward to getting to know many of you in the coming months. :)

Kind Regards,

@Arian Motalebi   Hello! Welcome!

I was born and raised in Adelaide and left Aus when I was 23.  I now live in Los Angeles!  I’ve been here six years and love the USA.

 I’ll be back down in Adelaide for the entire month of December staying with my family.  Let me know if you’re free to meet up in Dec, would love to chat about US real estate and share my experiences. My buy-and-hold properties are all in Texas and my focus is small multi family.  Shoot me a direct message if you want to grab coffee in Adelaide.  I can also chat about life in L.A.

@Arian Motalebi Welcome to Bigger Pockets! It sounds like you are on the right track! Keep getting as much knowledge as you can and be prepared to get started when the time is right! I recommend listening to the BP Podcast, some great info there that can help prepare you! Good Luck Aaron

@Joel O'Leary Hey Joel! What a small world I didn't think I would find someone on the forums from Adelaide so quickly, especially someone who has made the move over at similar age!  I would love to catch up for coffee when you come down in December. I am also really interested in multi-families so there is definitely lots to talk about. I will inbox you directly.  cheers Joel!

Hello! @Arian Motalebi

Welcome to BP, and congratulations on making the decision to invest in your future via real estate.

I have written a few blog posts that may help you get started here on BP, and with your investing. Please click on the links, give them a read, and share your thoughts in the comments.

First is a post that I feel will help not get overwhelmed with the amount of info that is here on BP:

The second is a post that will help get you focused with your real estate investing goals:

The last one is a post that will help you choose an “investor friendly” real estate agent. There are many agents out there, but it’s important to choose the right one.

I love answering questions if you have any! Good Luck :)
