New investor in Hampton Roads, VA

I am an aspiring investor in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I have not done any deals yet, but have been doing a lot of research and am excited to get started! I currently work in the environmental due diligence field and want to begin working towards developing a passive income through real estate investing. I am currently interested in single-family homes up to fourplexes as a first investment and have set a goal to have a property under contract within the next three months. I am also looking to connect with people that I can learn from, share experiences, build a team, and give back to the community.
