When I graduated college in 2009, I thought that I was on my way to financial freedom. But then the nightmare of student loans comes knocking on the door while yoi‘re trying to pay off credit cards, utilities, insurance, car payments and other miscellaneous expenses. Looking back, even though I was broke and struggling, it pushed me to develop myself more. At this point in my life, I come to notice that many aspects in life are coming full circle. If it wasn’t for the trials and tribulations of the recession, I wouldn’t be as strongwilled or have the positive mindset that I have today. Fast forward to the present and I still am a man with many odd-ball jobs. I currently am a silent investor in a few restaurants and working as a Locksmith as my day job. For the past year, I’ve been reading, listening and absorbing anything and eveything about real estate. And of course, the main reason for being obsessed is financial freedom. I‘ve watched, helped and appreciated the crazy hard work that my parents have done as entrepreneurs in a brand new country so I absolutely have no excuses. My ultimate goal in obtaining financial freedom is having the time to create new experiences with loved ones, explore the world more and working towards my retirement goal: becoming a botanist.
