Hello, my name is Trovador Dauz. Friends and family call me “Trovy”. I am 35, single and a proud father of 9 year old daughter. I live in Tempe, Arizona. My career consists of 17 total years and going in the Air Force Reserves and Navy Reserves combined. My background is in Civil Engineering specializing in HVAC. I currently work full time as a Maintenance Tech for a aerospace manufacturing company. I got into real estate believe it or not through listening to a bald white guy on the radio named Dave Ramsey. Once I read his book and started my journey to financial freedom, I got introduced into investing and that is when a good friend of mine, who is also a fan of Dave Ramsey told me about Real Estate. First thing he said was to go read a book called “Rental Property Investing” by Brandon Turner. Since then I started listening to BP podcasts. I’m getting a lot of education since I probably listen to the podcasts at least 6-10 hours a day. I haven’t done any deals yet, but I do plan on getting my first investment property here in a few months when my lease is up where I am currently renting. Right now my idea is to house hack by mortgaging a multi-family property. I’m probably going to start with a duplex then scale up to 50 units. Just enough to replace my 9-5 job. That is my current goal. To accomplish this goal I am educating my self in other avenues to gain capital for future deals. Thank you for reading to my lengthy introduction! Lol.
