Importance of school to choose flip

Hi to all the community of BiggerPockets!!! I’m Victor and I’m starting on this new whole world of flipping!

I have a chance to close a deal for my first one and I would like to ask your opinion about how important is that the school nearby of the “selected” house to flip have a good grade...

Currently the “selected” house has a nearby elementary school that is ranked really low but is really close... middle school is good and high school is not too good...

Thanks!

Hi Victor,

The better the school the more in demand the area but if you calculated the numbers and your ARV is correct it should sell in the same time frame as similar comps. You should use the comps based on the elementary school that its in. There are buyers at every school and area.
