A newbie that’s trying to learn from the veterans.

Hey BP family, I am fairly new to this awesome site and I am seeking for some help. My wife and I are currently renting in NYC at the moment and we’re looking forward of purchasing our first home sometime next year. During the house hunt, I accidentally bumped into BiggerPockets. So I went from house hunting to listening to BiggerPockets podcast, reading forums/ articles, and now I’m reading my first real estate book “Long distance real estate investing” by David Greene. Investing in real estate made so much sense to us after all the research we have done.

So now we’re stuck..

We thought our best option was to prioritize and gain as much knowledge for a good year.. buy our first home than start real estate investing. Even though I want to start NOW lol.

Just so we can further educate ourself in real estate.. is there any books, articles, websites, meet ups.... or anything you guys would recommend doing in the mean time?

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated it. Thank You
