New Member in Chicago (single & multi units)

Hello Everyone,

I've been putting off my intro for far too long. For the past year, I've been reading and listening to everything Bigger Pockets and I'm ready to get my feet wet!

I'm living in Chicago right now, working at a financial services startup. I'm very curious about multi-family properties for monthly cashflow, but being more realistically, I think purchasing a single unit to rent out would be a good first step for me.

Happy to be here!

Eric

@Eric Pitt - Welcome to the site.  First action is start networking and for me it started on bp.  Once I felt a little more confident I started attending some meet ups.  I can recommend a couple depending on what part of town you are in?
