Meeting with a mentor.

Wayne Tanner
Posted

Hi! My name is Wayne, and I am just starting down my investing path. I am meeting with a realtor this Friday who is also a investor. I am looking for advice as far as what questions should I be asking? What are some things when you were starting out you wish you asked about or knew ahead of time before you started making deals? My goal is to try and make the most of my meeting because I don't know yet if he will be interested in being a mentor for me. Anyway just wanted to get out there, this is my first post, and just trying to take the first steps in getting involved. Thanks and would appreciate anybody's thoughts or feedback. Cheers

Read a lot of books on Real Estate.
Those will be your best mentors.

As for the agent. Ask him about the process,
How it works, how quickly you can view homes, how quickly he responds to request, etc...

Then see if he keeps his word. If so you have a great agent because that sh*t is not as easy as it sounds :)
