New to investing, starting in Chicago

Hi everyone,

I'm excited to start investing in real estate. My husband and I are looking for our first deal to buy in the Chicago area. Buy and hold, BRRRR and Turnkey is what we are looking into right now. SFH and small multi family is the main goal for now.

We are happy to be part of the BP community and looking forward to connecting through this platform.

Any tips/ advises for us as newbies are very welcome .

Welcome to the community, @Francheska K.

Congratulations on starting your journey in real estate. The opportunities in real estate are abundant in Chicago. I have 2 rentals on the south-side of Chicago and now looking for my third.

Which neighborhoods are you looking at?
