Good Afternoon Bigger Pockets-

I am a new real estate investor based out of the Fresno, CA area and brand new to Bigger Pockets. I have read and heard Brandon Turner say numerous times that one of the best ways to use BP is to immerse yourself in the member's blog- so here I am. I first developed my passion for REI after reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". That book literally changed my life and pulled me from the sidelines and into the game! I have since read several real estate investing books to give myself a solid foundation- some by Brandon Turner, Gary Keller, and some others. I feel like I am at the point where I am ready to step off the cliff and into the unknown with my first property. I am currently looking for a single family residence or a small multi-family property in Fresno, CA for me to cut my teeth on. I look forward to any information, advice, or even connections from anyone and everyone on this site. Here's to a new and successful 2020, Let's get after it!

Hey Ryan, welcome to BP! My name is Josh Rodriguez and I am from San Francisco, CA.

I am also just starting out and looking to get my feet wet looking to invest in a single or possibly a multi family. I feel like were both at that same point in our real estate journey.

I actually just purchased a copy of “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” and currently reading Brandon Turner’s “The Book On Rental Property Investing” which I highly recommend you read if you have not done so already.
