New Member Introduction

Hello BP Happy 2020 Just wanted to start the new year off with my first post and introduction. 

I am Joe Richardson currently in Harrisburg PA i have been on BP for couple of month maybe 4 taking full advantage of the great information EXCEPT the networking portion. I was basically scared to post wasn't sure what to say, but now I am ready to continue my actions and move forward. 

Some of my goals is to start with Single family homes fix and flip see how that goes and then to learn how to build my portfolio which will include multifamily and then scale that to the commercial side. would also like to connect with people and continue to move past being shy or maybe the feeling of not being accepted (still working on that!)

I came to BP just searching talking to a couple of people when i wasn't being shy. BP has really been one of the main sources of information that leads me to Other content like books, video, pod cast etc. you get the point. i wont bore you if your new like me then you know lol. I am just ready to take the next jump to work on ONE of many important things Getting to know new people and them getting to know me!  I guess once i get started i keep going on. if anyone has any questions please feel free. I have taken the next step and that wasn't so bad  talk you you later Bigger Pockets Family!!

Welcome to BP! I also recommend using meetup.com real estate investor get-togethers in the area.  There are a few overlapping ones in Hburg area. I like all of them but you can see what fits your interests.

I am relatively new as well and have the found the meetups worth it for learning. For networking, it is best to come an hour early. People are open and friendly. Just tell them who you are and people will talk honestly.  Get a business card and exchange with others.

I have not networked as much but planning to do better in the upcoming meetings.
