Happy New Year! My name is Nancy. I am new to RE. I look forward to learning everything I can and would love to receive advice. I currently have a rental and looking to obtain more in the future, but trying to find capital to fund is challenging when just starting out. I have thought about borrowing against a retirement fund. I am not sure if that is the best way to go though. I have read the post and the information of the blogs and have learned much. Thanks

Welcome to BP Nation.
Borrowing from a retirement fund can be an option, but you must do it correctly and obviously safely.

What type of account is it? 401k IRA, or ? Is it self directed?
More info can help me and others provide better answers.
Of course, this is the member intro thread, so perhaps you would be better served posting such questions in the proper threads.
