Hello everyone,

I saw that Jason Demler posted his introduction, so I figured I would post mine as well seeing we are from the same city, Oshkosh, WI.

I've been a member of BiggerPockets for awhile now, and have learned a TON about real estate investing.

I graduated from UW-Oshkosh in December, and sold my business in January (a photo booth rental company). I started this business my junior year of college and was able to grow it pretty quickly and sell a year later for a nice profit. I have always been entrepreneurial (since my pet waste removal aka poop scoopin' business in high school), and I've always had a great interest in real estate investing. Now that I have some capital available, I'm searching for my first property. I think 23 is a good age to start!

I am in a bit of a tricky situation because I'm not exactly sure where I will be living in the next few years as I try to build my real estate portfolio. I will be moving out of state in June for a great new job, training for 11 months, and then moving back and taking over a sales territory somewhere in Wisconsin. I'm thinking my first investment will be a multi-family unit (most likely a duplex) in the city where my training will take place. Then I will hold onto the property or 1031 it into a better property when I move back to my Wisconsin territory.

I'm excited to finally start my real estate journey. I've never had any goals but huge ones, and I'm pumped to start accomplishing them. I know it will be a long process with a ton of ups and downs, but I know if I work extremely hard I'll find great success.

Thank you to all the BiggerPocket members who have contributed invaluable information to this website. The forums, podcasts, and member blogs are all unbelievably helpful to new and veteran investors.

Happy investing!!

Nate Stymiest I love reading the stories of all you young people! It's so inspiring. Sounds like you have a great plan, and vision. By the time you're ready to start buying you should have a good foundation under you from all you're going to learn on BP! Keep it up.
