Newbie from Philadelphia

Hello everyone, my name is Tim and I am a 19 year old sophmore, entrepreneur major attending Temple University. I grew up in the southern suburbs of Philadelphia and now currently live in Philadelphia as a student. I am looking to make a career out of real estate because of the versatility of the business. For the past couple years I have entertained myself by looking at listings on the internet and comparing houses to each other according to region/state. In the past couple months I have taken a serious interest into real estate and have been reading books on investing and reading articles online. Being 19 years old and without a strong incoming cash flow, it is hard for me to get my foot in the door even though I would like to, so for now I will be here continuing researching. Ideally I would like to acquire some investment properties while I am still young to rent and sell if the profit is there. I am very motivated to form relationships on here and learn from everyone in the business!
