Hi my name is Domingo and I'm from Richmond VA. I wanted to start investing in property but have been stuck in the analysis paralysis stage for over a few years now just reading, listening, and watching everything I can about rental properties. Even read books from BP but did not go to the website or listened to the till a few months back.

I was in the ARMY national guard and work in accounting. In real estate my first goal is to obtain my first rental property then to reach financial independence, but most importantly gain my confidence back and leave a legacy for my family.

Hello Domingo!  Acquiring your first 1-3 properties is the hardest... mentally and financially... but it just gets smoother from there! Most of your education will take place once you start working with lenders, contractors, and realtors, and start working your way through getting and managing your first property.  Although the market is competitive, I recommend buying sooner rather than later.  Interest rates are low and property values will continue to rise.  I am in Williamsburg, so if your interested in the market further down the peninsula (Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton) or in Norfolk, Sufolk, Va Beach and Chesapeake... message me and I'd love to chat.
