Newbie looking for advice

Howard Thomas
Posted

Hello everyone I am new to the real estate game and looking to learn as much as I can. I am a truck driver looking for a change, and more importantly looking for more time with the family.  All and any advice is appreciated and I am looking into single family homes for rental properties to start my adventure and I'm sure with everything that is going on an adventure it will be. Nonetheless I am ready for the challenge and hope to have some fun along the way.  Thank you all for reading and looking forward to connect with some of you. by the way I'm in the San Bernardino county area of California thanks again.

Hi Howard! We are fairly new to REI too. If you are looking to leave your truck driving gig and be with family the best way to do that is to start getting some CASH FLOW. I would for sure suggest a duplex so you and your family can house hack. Start by reading and listening to the BiggerPockets Real Estate podcast. Best of luck!
