New Real Estate Investor
Good morning everyone,
I am a new investor-in-training in the Central Texas area. I have been educating myself for the past 6 months on analyzing deals and the home-buying process. With my divorce being finalized in a week (hopefully) I am looking to make my first investment purchase of a multi-family home in the Killeen/Copperas Cove/Harker Heights areas.
It would be awesome to get to meet like-minded people around my area and expand my circle. I am currently working with an agent and a lender, but I am stuck between what property managers to use. I also do not know any contractors in the area so I am very open to recommendations.
Has anyone else invested in this area? How has your experience been?

Hey, there is actually a meetup that started here in Killeen recently, I went to the last one and really enjoyed it and learned alot as well. If you search meetups and look for Killeen it gets posted in there. If not I can let you know when the next one is.
