Hi everyone. Glad to be a part of this community and hope to learn a lot here. My name is Paul Jones and I live in Joshua, TX. which is about 25 minutes south of Fort Worth. I am brand new to the real estate game, but I have wanted to get into the business for a long time. I recently formed a company and have put a little money together and am going to give it my best shot to be successful in this business. I want to do rehab/flips, wholesaling and develop a rental property portfolio. I am extremely green, but I have been studying, watching videos and paying attention over the years to real estate programs and local transactions. I know a need to learn a great deal more, but I also feel its time to get my feet wet and get started. I am employed full time as a professional tractor trailer driver, but due to health issues I am not going to be able to continue my career much longer because of the physical demands of my work. I must make a change before its too late and I get caught in a situation where I am unemployed and have no income or prospects. I am very interested in learning this business and giving it my best shot! Looking forward to conversing with many of you soon.

Welcome Paul Jones!

If you are looking to get out of your current employment due to health concerns I recommend you listen to the BP podcast #14 with Ben Leybovich. He has a great story involving his own health concerns and the how he got started in multi-family rental property to give him a stream of income whether he has the physical ability to work or not. Its a very inspirational story.

Glad you are here!
