Hi BP!
My name is Youssra and I am new to real estate investing. I have read several books so far, and finally feel like I have enough money saved to put a down payment on a property. Looking to start by house hacking, but not sure if NYC is the right place to do it. Does anyone know where I can search for duplexes or multi-family properties (ideally in one of the five boroughs)? I would love to learn from everyone on how they got started in NYC and if y'all have any advice/tips for a first timer!

A couple years ago I use to work in NYC commuting from the Hudson county NJ area and seldom got to the Manhattan office faster than my colleagues whom lived in neighboring boroughs. North NJ is competitive but cheaper than what you may find in some of the boroughs.
Feel free to DM me and I can share some insights for the area.
