Hi, I’m Cindy and I live in Woodbury, MN. My husband and I own 3 properties we lease out (2 single family and 1 commercial bldg.) We also own the home we live in as well. I started as a landlord renting out a 1 bedroom house that was located right in back of our main home in Petaluma, CA. We moved to MN 10 years ago and rented out both the homes for a few more years then decided to sell because we wanted the equity out of the house (3/5 year rule). Our goal is to buy and hold a few more properties, pay them off to have passive income hopefully in 10 years. I’m looking to do wholesaling, flips, preforclosures to get some cash; I've never flipped or wholesaled. There are still deals out there, just have to work harder to find them. I just got licensed as a real estate salesperson in MN. I happened upon BiggerPockets while searching for something on the internet regarding investing (I don’t remember what) a couple months ago. I’m sure glad I found it. You guys are great; love your Podcasts, and everyone else that posts and supports each other. I'll be signing up for your Pro account!
