Looking to House Hack in Austin TX

Ada San Andres
Posted

Hello! I am new to BP and real estate. Joined in because I'm looking to move out of state and house hack in Austin TX. Guess where I'm coming from (hint: house prices are crazy here). I'm in the planning stage and a little bit of analysis paralysis. I welcome any wisdom and tips! I am also currently reading the book "The House Hacking Strategy". Nice to meet y'all!

@Ada San Andres

If you haven’t lived here before, I’d recommend renting for 6-12 months before deciding where you may want to buy. After that, house hacking is a good idea either via multiplex or renting out rooms in your home. Welcome to TX!
