Hello All. My name is Jim Deason. I live in the Austin, TX metro area(suburbs). I am full-time employed in the corporate world as a business development manager.
I have had a long-time "secret" passion for real estate. I am currently in the process of getting re-licensed as a RE agent after having let mine expire previously. I can elaborate more on that and my secret passion for REI another time in a different post.
My long-term investment strategy is buy and hold. In the next month or two I will be moving my family into another home while converting our current house into our first investment property. In the pursuit of my long-term goals I am interested in wholesale and flip opportunities. I would like to meet local investors that are active in this market. I attended my very first local REI networking group recently and made a few really good contacts and I'm hoping to meet more great folks here on Bigger Pockets. I'm excited to jump in and looking forward to meeting, talking and learning from the amazing folks here on BP.
